Piney & Co. Review, A Comparison to Cambodian Elephant Pants

As you may know, I spent some time in Cambodia. While I was there, you may also know that I did some shopping! Who wouldn’t right!? Well, one of the things I got were a bunch of pairs of pants—elephant pants. You’ve heard of them, right? Seen them around on social media? There are a ton of companies that sell them, so if you haven’t seen them yet, you will.

The appeal of these elephant pants is both the incredibly comfortable nature of their design and the cool patterns they come in. There are hundreds of designs. Their design originates in Asia in countries like Cambodia and Thailand, but they are spreading like wildfire.
Because I know you are curious, here are the pairs that I purchased in Cambodia!

Dont mind my wall, but I'm loving my comfy elephant pants! 🐘

Don’t Want to Travel? Buy Them from Home!

Yeah, yeah, I am sure this sounds like an infomercial. But I promise I am not getting paid. If you buy a pair using links I provide, I may get some commission, but that’s it.

Anyways, I decided that I hadn’t bought enough of these elephant pants in Cambodia and decided to scour the internet in search of them. I found a couple places with great designs. These companies are Piney & Co. and the Elephant Pants. Today, I’m focusing on Piney & Co., since I found them first and I bought a pair of plain black elephant pants from them.

I opted to buy a pair of plain black ones instead of a pair of pants with elephants on them because this particular company does not currently have any designs that have elephants on them. Or at least they didn’t when I purchased mine. I was sad about this at first, but I like the idea of a plain pair that can go with almost any outfit!

They were not my favorite at first because I have long legs, and they were not quite long enough. But the more I wore them, the more I fell in love with them and am glad that they were not full length. I have worn them in a million different ways, out for dinner, around the house, while grocery shopping, doing yoga, etc. I highly recommend checking out Piney & Co. ’s ‘elephant pants.’

Customer Service

Shipping for my pants took far longer than I had expected. However, I cannot tell you if that was an isolated incident or if that is normal for them. I contacted them and they promptly responded offering to resend the pants immediately. I got both pairs a few days later. (Don’t worry, I sent one back since I hadn’t actually bought them). Naturally, I have to rave about how quickly their customer service responded and then apologize for the tone my emails to them may have communicated (probably pretty irritated sounding). Sorry, guys!
