Everything You Need To Move Into Your First Apartment

apartment basics checklist

As I am preparing to move from Michigan to North Carolina at the end of the summer, I have been making plans and beginning to pack up everything I will need. I tend to over pack and over prepare, however, for this move I can only afford the essentials. After doing a ton of research and creating my own personal checklists. I have decided to share what I have learned with my lovely readers!

I have created an apartment basics checklist designed for those who have not lived on their own previously and are preparing to move into an apartment. This checklist included household items that are necessary to have—only the basics. This means that the list is as simple as I could make it.

While all the items on the list are needed for comfortable apartment living (for the first time), not everything needs to be purchased before the move. Items that can be purchased when the funds become available as well as items that are needed ASAP are included. Items that need to be purchased before the big move are indicated.

If you are planning to move into an apartment for the first time, this checklist is for you! To get the FREE Apartment Basics Checklist sign up below!

  1. Good luck with your move! I think this will be helpful if I ever move into an apartment. (Actually, I’ve been thinking about it.) Very good checklist!
