Jessica’s Purple & Blue Bullet Journal | Client Gallery

Jessica's Bullet Journal | Client Gallery

Here is a breakdown of the bullet journal inspired planner created for Jessica. Jessica’s notebook was created in a black A5 size notebook with the main color is blue. Layouts involved include a title page, year at a glance, monthly calendar, and weekly layouts.

Layouts Included

Title Page:

This is a purple watercolor title page. In a calligraphy font I wrote “Jessica,” then on the second line “2019 Bullet Planner” is written in an all-caps print font.

Year at a Glance:

This year at a glance features 12 months, January 2019 through December 2019, in a calendar format. The months are written vertically in blue cursive. The main header is 2019 in print font and “at a glance” in minimal cursive.

Monthly Calendar:

Three different monthly layouts were used, I will describe each.

Monthly Calendar:

I used a simple grid calendar and simple print fonts. This calendar has a column on the right side for notes or goals.

Minimal Calendar:

I used a simple grid calendar and simple blue calligraphy cursive heading vertically down the right side.

Monthly Calendar:

The left page of this layout is a calendar grid. The days of the week are indicated by blue letters. The right side features a calligraphy cursive font header and two sections below. These sections are titled in a minimal cursive reading “to-do” and “goals.”

Weekly Spread:

Two different layouts were used. I will describe them below.

Weekly Grid:

This is a simple 8-square grid. All lettering is done in a simple print font.

Weekly Columns:

This page features 7 columns for 7 days of the week. There is assorted washi tape in black and white bordering the rightmost column. The main titling is done in print font and weekday titling is done in blue and is just the first letter with a subscript for the date.
