Nicole’s Purple Bullet Journal | Client Gallery

Here is a breakdown of the bullet journal inspired planner created for Nicole. Nicole’s notebook was created in a black A5 size notebook with the main colors being purple, green, and blue. Layouts involved include a title page, key, bills, when did I last, clean house, projects, overall goals, hello monthly, monthly goals, monthly steps, and weekly layout.

Layouts Included

Title Page:

This is a yellow watercolor title page. In a calligraphy font I wrote “Kristi,” then on the second line “2018 Planning” is written in an all-caps print font.

Bullet Journal Key:

The header of this layout is a curved banner with cursive font. There are two columns of symbols chosen by Nicole.

Bill Tracker:

This layout shows 4 months at a time, the main header is a cursive font. Under each month there is a column for the amount, due date, and date paid. The space to the left of the table is for writing in the specific bill.

“When Did I Last” Tracker:

This is a layout for tracking tasks that must be done periodically such as an oil change. The header was created using a blue banner with black print font lettering. There is space on the left side of the page to note the task and several lines following it to write in dates.

Clean House:

This layout features several sections in circles with varies sizes. The header is in a green print font. The sections include daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and bi-weekly.

Project Page:

This is a mostly blank layout with a purple banner, print font header, and a hammer doodle.

Overall Goals Page:

Similar to the “projects layout,” this spread is mostly blank with a blue banner and print font header.

Hello Monthly:

The header of this spread is a calligraphy cursive in either blue, green, or purple. Below the header is that month’s calendar. The rest of the page is blank.

Monthly Goals:

This is a smaller version of the overall goals. The header is a banner with print font and the color of the banner matches the color of that month.

Monthly Steps:

Like most of the other layouts, this header is a banner with a print font. There is a flow of squares starting in the upper right-hand or left-hand corner flowing via arrows down to the bottom. There is a square for each day of that month.

Weekly Layout:

This layout is unlike any I have done because in the top half there are 7 triangles, 1 for each day of the week. The 8th space holds the header identifying the week number in a cursive font. The bottom right-hand corner has a table with two columns. These columns represent water and sleep, each row represents a day of that week. The rest is left blank to journal and note other details.
